WE ARE THE VETERAN ASSOCIATION
OF THE 71sT REGIMENT NGSNY
Our association was formed by the regiment's veterans of the Civil War in 1869. Current membership includes veterans of World War Two, as well as the post war era. We have members who have and are now serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Membership is open to all who have served in the 71st throughout its history. We now have a category of members who are sons, daughters or grandchildren of men who have served in the regiment. Members receive newsletters which keep everyone up-to-date on current happenings, as well as articles about our past. Along with membership comes an invitation to our annual luncheon, dinner and picnic.
Association Annual Dues are $ 12.00 ( $10.00 for dues and $ 2.00 for a Booster Donation), members may donate more than $2.00. We are a Not-for-Profit 501-c-19 Veteran Association governed by IRC 170 (c ) ( 3) and donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the IRS.
